My Story...
Alek Rosolowski is an emerging performer and actor from Mississauga ON. His passion for singing and performance came at a young age. Growing up, Alek was involved in choir and performed at local festivals, open mics, and school events. In grade 7, he discovered musical theatre and was hooked ever since.
He continued his passion for music and singing by attending Cawthra Park Secondary School enrolling in the vocal program. While studying at Cawthra, Alek sang in chamber and jazz choirs, danced in the student showcase MOSAIX, and performed in their annual musicals. Upon graduation, Alek received the prestigious Senior Musician award of his class.
Continuing his music education and love for performance, Alek attended the University of Toronto studying classical voice under Gregory Dahl earning a Bachelor of Music. In university, Alek had the privilege to sing with the MacMillan Singers for 4 years and recently, had the opportunity to sing as part of the accompanied choir for Andrea Bocelli's 30th anniversary tour at the Scotiabank Arena. Besides performing, Alek studied composition, music education, songwriting, producing, conducting, theory, and music history rounding out his skills as a performer.
Credited performances include singing at the Canadian National Exhibition, Bread and Honey Festival, Celebration Square, Living Arts Centre, Rose Theatre, and Hart House.
When not performing, Alek enjoys playing sports, doing yoga, and watching movies with family and friends.
